Caravans in the Trossachs Scotland
at Corriechrombie Farm by Loch Lubnaig
These three static 28ft four berth caravans each provide accommodation for up to 4
persons. Open March - October
Each caravan has 2 bedrooms, washroom, dining room & lounge.
Gas and mains electricity are provided and the vans are equipped with a 4 ring cooker, a
mains fridge and a microwave.
Trout fishing optional.
All linen, towels, electricity, gas provided
A non-returnable deposit will be required on booking
Minimum stay 3 nights.
Outdoor activities
The river Leny and Loch Lubnaig are just a stones throw from the caravans and river
fishing for trout is available. Fishing tackle may be hired if required.
Other outdoor activities immediately available include: Walking and cycling - the
Callander to Killin cycleway is at the bottom of the site, canoeing is available from
Strathyre at the north end of the loch and for those interested in wildlife the area teems
with a variety of wild birds and animals.
Canoes and bicycles can be hired locally.
For the more strenuous walkers, Ben Ledi (hill of God) is behind the farmhouse and the
footpath up the mountain starts 300 yards from the farm. The Crags at Callander offer a
variety of easy (ish) walks and rise to about 800 ft with splendid views to the Trossachs
hills and to Stirling, Abbey Craig and Dum-yat.
Other mountains within easy reach are: Ben Vane, Stuc a Chroin, Ben Vorlich, Ben More,
Stobinian.
Scenery
Loch Lubnaig, famed for its still waters and reflections is just 2 minutes walk from
the farm.
The fabulous Falls of Leny just a few hundred yards in the opposite direction.
Glen Ogle with its falls, Wade's military road and the splendid walk up the glen on the
old rail track with its viaduct is less than 15 minutes drive.
The Trossachs trail, passing Loch Venachar, Loch Achray and Loch Katrine starts from
Kilmahog just 2 miles away.
For a panoramic view over the glen, visit Panoramic view over loch Lubnaig. (Takes just about a minute to load
but worth the wait for the views from Ben Ledi).
Main Towns to visit:
- Glasgow - less than 1 hour
- Edinburgh - about 1 hour, or take the train from Stirling.
- Perth - about an hour via Loch Earnside and Crieff.
- Groceries and other shops are in Callander - 3 miles.
- Callander also has a good variety of places to eat out - pubs, restaurants, cafes and 3
chippies!

To Find Us
From Callander, follow signs for Crianlarich & Fort William. Pass through the
hamlet of Kilmahog (1m) then after about 2m, watch on the left for the sign to
'Forest Enterprise' over the metal bridge. Take this road over the bridge and follow the
track to the right marked 'no access'. You will then see the three caravans about 250
yards on the right.
